Chart notes
STRAWBERRY TREAT broke a bit slow, lagged well off of a hotly contested pace, gathered momentum leaving the five sixteenths, angled five to six wide into the lane, straightened away and closed sharply under strong handling, rolled past inner foes near the sixteenth pole and drew clear. UNCLE MONEY tracked the dueling leaders while saving ground, awaited room from the five sixteenths to the quarter pole, angled three wide and found room soon into the lane, moved up to bid between rivals nearing the sixteenth marker and kept on gamely to earn the place. MAGICNTHEMOONLIGHT broke on top and set a pressured pace inside, sparred from the far turn, was under a hustling ride holding a slim lead past the quarter pole, shook clear under a drive past the three sixteenths then gave way grudgingly. NO NO JOE stalked the leaders while outside UNCLE MONEY, was fanned four wide as that rival worked outward for a clear run in upper stretch, chased on past mid stretch then came up empty. NUEDORF attended the pace from the outside, drew on near even terms exiting the far turn, fought on past the three sixteenths, failed to kick on leaving the furlong grounds and weakened.
