Chart notes
PATRIOT'S WORD dueled with WICKED GRANDPA throughout and prevailed in a prolonged drive. WICKED GRANDPA dueled with PATRIOT'S WORD from along the inside and held on gamely to the wire. WONDER WHY I DRINK disputed the early pace while three-wide and held on well for third. WHISKEY MOON dropped back after an alert beginning then settled racing two-wide, came four-wide into the stretch and showed some late interest. RAGING ROOSTER saved ground racing in the back of the field, angled out nearing the sixteenth pole and went evenly late. LET'S GO was unhurried, rallied five-wide into the stretch and failed to seriously threaten. SAUCE ME A SLICE was forwardly placed early racing four-wide and tired.
