Chart notes
CALVIN'S RUN pressed the pace into the turn, three deep on even terms outside SETTIE HAYESEN battled hard to gain an advantage on that rival through the lane, under strong handling kicked away late. STETTIE HAYESEN broke sharp, vied two wide into the turn, hooked by CALVIN'S RUN leaving the furlong marker, dug in gamely through the stretch, yielded late. PEDRO'S FANCY MAN broke alertly, chased inside into the turn, checked off heels nearing the quarter pole, regrouped tipped out four wide into the lane, chased on willingly after a troubled trip. CONEJO DORADO broke slow, waited room off the pace into the turn, angled out four wide worked between runners leaving the furlong marker, improved position through the final sixteenth. COLOR ME JUBA away in good order, chased off the pace and off the rail around the turn, running on the wrong lead, flattened out through the stretch. SIGHTS ON JUBA hopped at the start, roused on five wide into the lane, came up empty through the final sixteenth. JOHN'S WISHES very slow into stride, pressed off the pace between runners around the turn, weakened through the stretch. THE SOUTHS GOLD shuffled in tight quarters through the chute, chased inside off the pace around the turn, faltered upper. THERE WAS A JOCKEY'S OBJECTION LODGED IN THIS RACE, THE RIDER OF PEDRO'S FANCY MAN CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST THE RIDER OF STETTIE HAYESEN FOR INTERFERENCE APPROACHING THE QUARTER POLE, AFTER THE JUDGE'S REVIEW STETTIE HAYESEN WAS DISQUAILFIED AND PLACED THIRD.
