Chart notes
JES SEE ME broke alertly then ceded the early lead, prompted the decent pace into the backstretch, vied between rivals to upper stretch, took command into the final furlong, drifted out and carried out RESOLUTE to the final sixteenth while under firm left handed urging, held the runner-up at bay to deep stretch and proved best. RESOLUTE was forwardly placed while outside of rivals, tracked the decent pace three wide heading to the half-mile marker, chased three wide to the quarter marker then vied to upper stretch, was carried out by the drifting JES SEE ME into the drive, was kept at bay into the final sixteenth and held safely for second. CLASSIC NOFTY settled in the second flight, chased three wide to the quarter marker then angled four wide for the stretch drive, angled in behind the leading pair past mid-stretch, needed more to the final sixteenth but was clear in the end for third. FLY IN THE MYSTIC settled while saving ground, well placed nearing the half-mile marker, lost ground nearing the quarter marker and trailed to upper stretch, swung to the two path for the stretch drive and passed a tiring rival late. RED ZONE RUNNER went up to take early command, set a decent pace while prompted into the backstretch, met the bid of JES SEE ME nearing the quarter pole, battled into the lane then gave way in the final furlong.
