Chart notes
THE BOY'S WARRIOR went clear quickly after several strides from the gate, settled in hand to set a well measured pace, repelled challenges through the lane and finished determinedly. JIMMY THE HAT was well placed tracking the leaders from the rail into the turn, angled six wide for the drive and closed ground steadily in the lane. ROCKET DRAGON stalked the pace to midway on the turn, ranged up to threaten nearing the quarter pole, was repelled by the winner and ran-on in the stretch to hold the show. HIT THAT REVIEW (IRE) chased the pacesetter and weakened in the final sixteenth. SAINT GOAR failed to menace. WICKED GENIUS was not a factor.
