Chart notes
HIGHTAIL FOX stalked the pace from four wide into the turn, gradually edged closer on the bend, rallied steadily in the lane to overtake the pacesetter in the final furlong and was going away late. JUDY CHOP sped off to a wide advantage down the backside, maintained a clear lead to the top of the lane, vied with the winner in mid-stretch, proved no match for that one and finished well as clearly second best. PARTY AT THE BEACH chased the leader through the turn, lacked a closing kcik and kept-on as best of the rest. VIVA VICTORY raced mid-pack and failed to respond when called upon. PAUL'S GUITAR was slow early to trail and showed some late interest without impact. MILCHIN raced in early contention and faded to the rear posing no threat.
