HOT PROPERTY got bumped at the start by DAIQUIRI SOMMELIER, who broke inwards, chased three wide under a ride from three furlongs out, angled six wide into upper stretch and offered up a mild kick dueling through the final furlong with the aforementioned foe to the outside and offered up a mild kick but was just bested for the show honors at the finish. ABRIGADO broke out at the start taking over the lane of the slower breaking NEIGH BABY and forcing that foe to steady, cut the pace along the inside under challenge midway on the turn, came under encouragement with five-sixteenths to go, took the inside route into upper stretch, yielded the front just outside the eighth pole and weakened in the late stages. DAIQUIRI SOMMELIER broke in at the start bumping HOT PROPERTY, chased just off the inside and then along the inside under urging from the three-eighths pole, continued in the inside route into upper stretch and faltered in the drive.
