LINCHPIN STORM unhurried away, tracked four wide, was asked to quicken in the final turn, rallied four wide and prevailed under a drive. SOMTHING ELUSIVE saved inside, dropped back leaving the backstretch, was roused at the head of the lane, rallied determinedly and just missed. TOOL TIME moved up into a striking position, gained the advantage nearing the quarter pole, and was run down. SHASHASHAKEMEUP was four wide leaving the backstretch, rallied four to five wide into the stretch and yielded. MR MIEZIE broke sharply to set the early pace, was overtaken and wilted.
