Chart notes
FIVE TWENTY SUNSET was reserved off the pace racing two-wide, rallied four-wide into the stretch, came in slightly to brush with HANDSOME TICKET and was up in the final strides. HANDSOME TICKET was fractious in the gate then vied with Y VEE R racing two-wide, took the lead entering the stretch then came out slightly to brush with FIVE TWENTY SUNSET nearing the wire and just failed to last in a game try. NATION OF FAITH raced in the back of the field, rallied five-wide into the stretch and finished strongly. Y VEE R vied with HANDSOME TICKET for the lead into the stretch and weakened late. MOBLEY saved ground while being allowed to settle and tired. THE STEWARFS CONDCUTED AN INQUIRY INTO THE INCIDENT INVOLVING FIVE TWENTY SUNSET AND HANDSOME TICKET NEARING THE WIRE BUT AFTER VIEWING THE FILMS MADE NO CHANGE IN THE ORDER OF FINISH
