Chart notes
HIDDEN PROFIT set the pace, drew off into the stretch for a clear lead and held safely under mild urging. RED ROAD chased the pace in a steady effort and gain late to narrow the gap. CASTLE ISLAND was never far off the pace, raced towards the outside, swung wide entering the stretch, bid, hung late and just held for show. HEY BOSS was slow early, advanced to the turn, bid along the rail, closed inside, was gaining late and just missed for third. MAASAI WARRIOR was void of early speed, swung wide leaving the turn and found his best stride late. SPECIAL STORMY raced mid pack, swung wide entering the stretch and closed well. TRAITOUR was never far off the pace, had nothing left for the drive and faded. I'M YOUR MAN was not a factor. CHENTI saved ground, advanced to the turn, loomed a threat, dropped back, gave way. LUCKY ROMANCE was outrun.
