Chart notes
PERFECT DREAM pulled some in the early stages, tracked close up on the inside, angled out at the quarter pole, rallied three wide into the lane, closed outside of CAPTAIN CODY, responded when roused and drew clear late. CAPTAIN CODY stalked close up two wide, bid two wide on the far turn, took over, dug in gamely inside of the winner in the stretch run and came up second best. LOYAL PRINCE was off a step slow, raced four wide early, moved up three wide into contention on the backside, chased three wide on the far turn, came four wide into the lane and weakened. THE WRATH OF DAVID stalked two wide, chased on the far turn and lacked a rally. READY INVENTOR raced off the pace inside, came two wide into the lane and failed to threaten. SOY DOMINICANO set the pace on the inside, dueled on the far turn and faded. COMMAND INTENTION raced off the pace inside and was outrun.
