Chart notes
LUPINE set the pace racing with a clear lead, responded when roused at the top of the lane, kicked away and was kept to the task. LADY HATHOR shuffled on the inside leaving the chute, then raced off the pace inside, angled out in the stretch, closed well late and got up for second at the wire. CLEAN WINNER stalked the winner early on, chased that rival on the turn, dug in through the final furlong and lost second at the finish. BACKSEAT ROMANCE raced four wide in the chute, settled off the pace, chased two wide on the turn, came three wide into the lane and had no rally. AUNT JO raced off the pace, inside on the turn and failed to threaten.
