Chart notes
LUMBER LEGACY vied inside for the lead, took over on the backside, dueled with TOLD (IRE) on the far turn, lost the lead, battled back gamely inside of that rival at the furlong marker, edged away and held well under urging. IRISH INDYGO stalked the leaders early on, then tracked on the inside, chased on the far turn, rallied on the rail in the final furlong and got up late for second. TOLD (IRE) raced off the pace, made a four wide middle move into contention on the backside, bid two wide on the far turn, led at the quarter pole, then was outkicked by the winner in midstretch and lost second at the finish. MR HOPKINS shifted in leaving the chute crowding a rival, then raced off the pace inside, chased three wide on the far turn and had no rally. VINO GRAY was outrun early, came three wide into the lane and closed belatedly outside. IT'S THE STONES raced two wide off the pace, advanced between rivals on the backside, chased on the far turn and tired. MATTY B GOOD was off a bit slow, then crowded a bit and hit the rail leaving the chute, checked, dropped back, then outrun inside. KING OF FOG vied two wide for the early lead, then chased and gave way. After a Stewards' Inquiry into the run leaving the chute, the race was declared official.
