Chart notes
MICKSWAGGER pressed between horses, dropped back entering the stretch, closed steadily, wore down his rivals and got up near the wire. ROCKS A BLACK SUIT pressed the pace along the inside, assumed command on the turn, drew clear entering the stretch and was caught near the wire. KATONAH set a pressured pace to the turn, dropped back, hung late and settled for show. ZIA ZAPPER was in tight early, dropped inside to save ground and lacked the needed late response. DISCREET MOB was in tight early, steadied entering the turn, dropped back and closed well. L SQUARED pressed the pace five wide to the turn and leveled off. FAST SERVICE lacked a bid in an outside trip and did not threaten.
