Chart notes
MATILDA'S MARK set a pressured pace, inched clear on the turn and held safely under mild urging. FIRST AGAIN was unprepared at the start and got off slowly, advanced outside, angled in on the turn and closed to get up for place. RIGHT FOR YOU got away well, stalked the pace while racing towards the outside, swung wide leaving the turn, put in a steady bid and got up for show. LA JOLLA BEACH pressed the pace two wide to the turn, dropped back, continued willingly and didn't have enough late. HONKY TONK HONEY was slow early, went wide in the drive and closed to narrow the gap. MAMA WAS A ROCKET stalked the pace, bid to get in range and came up empty late. HOODWINKED KATE was not a factor. B F T RIGGED UP saved ground, bid inside and lacked a response.
