Chart notes
CHASING KAT pressed from outside, took over past the quarter pole, cleared rivals into the stretch, drew off under right handed urging to the sixteenth pole, then held safely over the late charge from the runner-up. PRETTY CECY bumped leaving the gate, coaxed along from off the pace staying well off the rail, exited the bend four to five wide, angled out further in the lane, closed well from outside and kept gaining to the wire. JASMINA got bumped at the start, raced up close three deep, challenged the top pair from outside on the turn, was no match for the winner in upper stretch, got passed for second and was able to hold third. RUNNING SUPER broke out and bumped, stalked between runners, had to check when running on the heels of CHASING KAT at the seven-sixteenths pole, went two wide into the turn, drifted out a bit around the bend and churned on for a minor award. LOVELY MEDAGLIA broke out, followed in range four deep, remained wide through the turn and flattened out. HOW LOVELY (IRE) broke out and bumped, was forwardly placed on the inside, cut the corner into the stretch and weakened. BEAR'S BOARD showed the way under pressure from the winner to the outside, headed by that rival at the quarter pole, lost command shortly after, came off the rail a bit leaving the turn and folded. STARS HOLLOW dropped off the pace, jumped tracks nearing the half-mile pole, trailed well off the rail on the turn and was never a factor.
