Chart notes
HACKING IT UP followed in range outside a pair of rivals leaving the backstretch, loomed three wide turning for home, came in slightly while putting a head in front at the eighth pole, then edged clear from DISKO TRIBUTE in the last sixteenth. DISKO TRIBUTE bumped with inner rival at the start, took a short lead over outer pair, dueled with PIPER'S CAUSEWAY past the five-sixteenths pole, carried a short lead to upper stretch, overtaken by the winner at the eighth pole and stayed on for a game second. SCENE BY ME stalked two wide between rivals into the turn, found the rail around the bend, saved ground to the stretch, could not summon the needed but kept on to gain the show honors. KERRY GOLD brushed at the start, traveled outside a rival at the back early, went three deep around the bend, offered a mild response and earned a minor award. ITS A CINCH brushed with outer rival in the beginning, got crowded slightly along the rail and checked early, raced inside a rival at the back, chased in the two path between runners on the turn and failed to rally. PIPER'S CAUSEWAY brushed outer rival at the dispatch, vied three deep up the backstretch, dueled from outside past the five-sixteenths pole, bothered a bit by the winner coming in slightly at the eighth pole and weakened. I'M A BAD BOY fought for the lead between rivals to the three-eighths pole, could not keep up with the top pair midway around the bend and weakened in the drive. ARKADELPHIA bumped between rivals at the start, was prominent early on the inside, brushed the rail past the three-eighths pole and dropped back, then had little left for the drive.
