LIGHT THE BEAM saved ground while being reserved off the pace, angled out to come three-wide into the stretch and was up in the final sixteenth. BERT'S PROSPECT saved setting the pace, responded when asked and held on gamely during the drive. BOURBON DANCER prompted BERT'S PROSPECT racing two-wide, came three-wide into the stretch and finished well in a steady effport. GORDY'S BOY saved ground while being unhurried and improved his position/. TWIRLING DERBY was forwardly placed racing three-wide and tired. HEY SEQUOIA was allowed to settle racing two-wide, came three-wide into the stretch and was not a factor.
