Chart notes
NIPSEY leaned out at the start, saved ground, lodged a bold inside bid on the turn, swept to the front and drew off in the stretch under token encouragement. CURLINA STAR settled well, took over at the three-eighths pole, proved no match but stayed on to be clearly second best. IDIOM led early, was headed at the three-quarter pole, got outpaced on the turn and produced a mild five wide bid to pick up KIONA in the late stages. The latter broke outwardly, worked her way to the front in the opening quarter, was urged on the turn and came up empty in the stretch. MEMORY OF MY LIFE was forwardly placed and weakened. LADY ALDENE bobbled at the break, was always outrun, eased late and walked off.
