Chart notes
SEEKER'S HOPE was hustled to the front then showed the way, went around most of the turn in the two path then dropped to the inside, responded well when asked coming to the three-sixteenths pole and powered away under a strong hand-ride to prove much the best. MAJESTIC ARC had her head turned just before the start but straightened it just as the latch was sprung and broke near the top, showed speed then pressed the pace on the outside of the leader, chased in the three path on the turn and proved no match while just able to get the place. RED MILLER was urged along well back the field, went around the turn in the four path, shifted to the six path into the stretch and improved position to just miss the place while able to get the show. SPORTS HERO was well placed just off the pace, rounded the turn in the two path, was given his cue near the five-sixteenths pole, chased into the stretch and weakened then missed the trifecta. LEXINGTON PIKE settled off the pace, was taken in hand between horses near the nine-sixteenths pole, came under urging late on the backstretch, went around the turn in the three path and failed to respond. DUCKY MEDWICK was hustled from the gate, chased the pace down the backstretch, dropped back while inside on the turn and capitulated. MO SPICE chased just off the pace, dropped back in the four path on the turn, turned into the stretch in the five path and had nothing left. WAITIN'ONASUNNYDAY broke awkwardly and was off a bit slow, moved up on the outside under urging, dropped back in the five path on the turn, came into the stretch in the seven path and faltered.
