Chart notes

WEST COAST DREAM laid off of the pace four wide, ranged up around the turn, bid outside of the leader while tucking to the three path at the quarter pole, led into the lane and drew clear. DIABLO SHIRAZ saved ground at the rear, advanced then tipped out to the three path entering the lane, chased and reeled in place at the wire. TRANSATLANTIC stalked along the inside, bid and vied inside of the leader passing the nine sixteenths pole, led around the far turn, got collared by an outer bidder at the quarter pole, headed entering the lane, gave way and lost place at the wire. GALATINA stalked three wide, pressed into the turn, bid passing the three furlong pole and faded between horses with a quarter mile to go. PINK MOON led in the two path into the backstretch, vied between horses into the far turn, but gave way at the five sixteenths pole and faded.
