Chart notes
LITTLE MARTHA reserved off the pace to be mid-pack down the backside, made a steady advance four wide on the turn while still in hand, took command nearing the eighth pole and drew away in the final furlong. DOMINANT STRANGER took the lead from the gate to set a well rated pace, was no match for the winner when challenged in upper stretch and ran-on to hold the place. WHAT'S GOOD unhurried to be at the rear of the main body of the field, was put to ar ide on the far turn and mounted a grinding bid five wide in the lane to be along for the show. JASSAI saved ground throughout, cut the corner turning ofr home all to no avail. SHAUNNASAPRILFOOL prompted the pace to upper stretch and weakened late in the drive. ONE VIOLENT AFFAIR had a shoe repaired in the paddock and proved no factor.
