SOLID CONNECTION bumped at the break with ELECTRABLAZE, moved out eight-wide backstretch, advanced four-wide turn, finished well, took over late, drew out. THICK had speed off the rail, took inside under mild pressure turn, opened up stretch, gave best, gave way late. CAPE SPEAR broke inwards, took the path of CONQUEST OF WAR forcing that one to check, continued to bear in, bumped EXPRESS ZIP hard leaving the chute, pressed outside turn, finished evenly, held the show. BIG STRIDE, five-wide early, advanced three-wide turn, rallied mildly. BRASS SERENADE, between horses early, dropped back into turn, advanced four-wide, rallied belatedly. KNOW IT ALL stalked inside, finished evenly. EXPRESS ZIP, bumped hard entering chute, lost footing half-pole, inside turn, tired. CONQUEST OF WAR hopped at the break, checked when CAPE SPEAR came over, seven-wide between horses early, four-wide turn, tired. ELECTRABLAZE, bumped at the break, dropped back, saved ground, faded.
