FINAL THOUGHTS stalked the pace outside of the leader, bid near the eighth pole and was clear under a mild drive. STAR SAVER stalked the pace inside, was steadied on the first turn, saved ground, bid near the quarter pole and was caught. CHATTERFIELD was clear inside, moved to the three path near the quarter pole and faded late. HOT ICE stalked the pace in the four path but had no late bid. KUCH stalked the pace between rivals and faded in the stretch. PUNKIN BOY was squeezed back at the start and passed a tired foe.
