Chart notes
BRODERICK cleared early, set the pace in the two path, handled outer pressure from UNIVITED GUEST leaving the far turn, sparred with that one to about mid stretch, spurted back clear under strong handling near the sixteenth pole then steadily widened late. UNINVITED GUEST hopped at the break then bobbled, regrouped and edged up between runners nearing the first turn, tracked three wide and to the inside of foes, moved to engage the winner around the far turn, battled outside that one to mid stretch then gave way grudgingly. MAKABIM , five wide outside rivals while stalking the pace, gave hard chase as the leaders separated mid way on the final turn, remained wide for the drive, finished evenly and outkicked a fading foe. MIGHTY MINION , four wide between horses and in close range, was under a ride leaving the far turn, shifted in for the drive and faded. MY DETROIT CITY saved ground while not far back through the backstretch run, failed to go on under asking past the five sixteenths, faltered and was eased through the final furlong.
