Chart notes
GENERAL MATHIS never far back, rallied three wide to make the lead early on the far turn, set the balance of the pace, drew clear in upper stretch and won in hand. I WANNA WIN away alertly, set the pace along the inside into the far turn, kept on and finished well clear for second. HIDDEN ACCESS prompted the pace two wide into the stretch then faded. SAMMY'S SMILE raced outside and had no rally. PAINT THE TOWN failed to menace. NEED TO KNOW BASIS was no factor. RELISH THE RIDE was through after half.
