Chart notes
CREVALLI broke sharply and grabbed the early lead before being headed by SCRUTINATOR into the turn, then battled through the turn, was roused at the top of the lane and responded well. SCRUTINATOR moved up early to take the lead into the far turn and led while pressed by CREVALLI, then battled into the lane and held place. EASY PICK rated in the second flight along the rail early then angled out at the 1/4 pole and was clear into the stretch, gaining while four wide. NANTUCKET LOVE dropped back early along the inside and saved ground then made a bid along the rail into the stretch and continued the mild rally late along the inside. SAINT SHANCE settled off the early pace while behind horses then altered to move while five wide into the turn, made a bid nearing the 3/8 pole but flattened out in the stretch. HILL COUNTRY was allowed to settle near the back of the pack and saved ground through the turn before being asked between horses at the top of the stretch and showed some run late. CHAPPELLE rated close up between horses early and stalked the leaders into the turn before being asked between horses but came up empty in the lane. NEVER TILL NOW chased the pace while four wide early and was ridden along through the turn before tiring in the stretch.
