Chart notes
MASAKADO prompted the pace from outside the early leader three wide and occasionally putting a short head in front then easing off to press, dueled inside a foe for the lead from the quarter pole on, was headed by that one in mid-stretch but was resurgent late to prevail. BRUNO stalked from outside in hand, advanced late on the turn four then five wide, dueled through the stretch putting a short head in front but was denied. STONE COLD FLEX switched out off the rail, stalked the leaders from between foes into the turn, angled seven wide leaving that bend, kept on outside contending late but missed. OVIATT CLASS shifted in early, moved up closer inside, cut the corner bidding up the rail at the top of the stretch but flattened out. TUFF LUCK broke a step slowly, settled at the back outside going three to five wide into the turn, fanned eight deep for the drive, failed to menace. SIR MAXIMUS soon took the lead, set a pressured pace from off the rail, faltered.
