Chart notes
BLUE SUEDE HOOVES saved ground around the turn in a striking position, moved to the three path in upper stretch, split horses in mid stretch and was kept alert. MY CAPTAIN hugged the inner rail, had room inside horses in the stretch, challenged for the lead in upper stretch and finished gamely. MASTER NIBBLES , in hand when caught in traffic leaving the backstretch, swung out on the turn, rushed up five wide turning for home and flattened out. RAGS TO LACE worked between horses around the turn and in the stretch, bid for the lead in mid stretch then gave way. GOODLUCK ROAD , never a factor, drifted very wide in upper stretch. LIBERTY BAY saved ground on the turn and was no factor. MAGIC BAY raced in the four path on the turn, challenged for the lead between horses in upper stretch and gave way. VEOLA made the early lead, set the pace in the two path around the turn and gave way in the drive.
