Chart notes
GRANDE SORPRESO led in the two path and held sway under a steady drive. BEIJING was bumped at the start, raced in the three path, bid near the quarter pole but couldn't get past the winner. GOLDEN DECREE stalked the pace inside and lacked running room near the three-sixteenths pole. SENOR VALENTINE saved ground to no avail. JUSTONE MORE THING stalked the pace in the four path and gave way late. CANDY CONSTITUTION raced evenly in the four path. QUIET EMPIRE and UPON REVIEW were not factors.
