Chart notes
PARKRIDGE leaned on MADDENBLUE early then bumped extremely hard with that foe around the eleven-sixteenths pole, was urged along off the pace, dropped from the two path to the inside on the turn, shifted to the three path while gaining into the stretch, chased while remaining on his inside lead until outside the furlong marker then swapped to the proper lead, closed well to get the lead approaching the sixteenth-pole then went clear under good handling. BOER WAR was hustled from the gate then bumped just after the start, moved up under urging to get the lead then showed the way off the inside, dropped from the three path to the two path early on the turn, was asked at the quarter-pole, came under a left-handed crop inside the three-sixteenths pole, led until just before the sixteenth-pole then was overtaken while clear for the place. MAX O NIDAS was bumped just after the start then squeezed back between horses, raced near the back under urging, raced inside to the two path on the turn, pursued the top two under a drive while along the rail in the stretch and lacked the needed kick while well clear for the show. MEDIEVAL broke very fast, chased outside after losing the early lead, went around the turn in the three to four path, dropped back in the five path into upper stretch and tired. LOAN RANGER was bumped in the hindquarters early then corrected outward, raced on the outside under urging, dropped back leaving the backstretch, went around the turn in the four to five path and had nothing left. MADDENBLEU leaned on PARKRIDGE in the early going, bumped extremely hard with that foe then also bumped with LOAN RANGER around the eleven-sixteenths pole, was urged along at the rear, dropped from the three path to the two path early on the turn, moved to the inside late on that bend and was no factor.
