Chart notes
GUNS AND SHIPS set a pressured pace along the inside to the quarter pole gave up a narrow lead to the runner up, fought back gamely under left handed urging along the rail and got back up in time. WISE WORDS never far back, rallied three wide through the far turn to gain a narrow lead at the quarter pole, matched strides with the winner the length of the stretch two wide and finished second best. POLIZON chased the pace and went evenly. SHUKRAN had his head turned then miss stepped at the start, was unhurried and passed tiring rivals in the six path. AXCEL stalked the pace three then two wide into the stretch then weakened. TROUBLE OR NOTHIN was no threat. LAO WAY had brief speed. GAME PERFORMER was through early.
