Chart notes
BLUE GRANITE showed good outside speed then emerged the leader entering the backstretch, and won going away. SCHMUGLEY fanned three wide in the opening turn, was asked to quicken nearing the quarter pole, but was no match for the winner in the stretch and held on for second. DUE COARSE went five wide into the first turn, chased through the backstretch, and closed late. ARE GEE fanned four wide, tracked outside, and rallied mildly. SUNDAY RAIN was fractious at the gate, then bucked leaving, was six wide in the first turn, trailed the field, and passed tiring rivals. ARTIC CAUSEWAY stumbled leaving the gate, stalked the pace from the rail, and faded. BLUE APPLE SEVEN late mild bid.
