Chart notes
RAY OF LOV , swung outside mid way on the turn, was fanned to the six path in upper stretch, remained on his left lead, drifted in a bit under right hand urging in the drive and went clear. PARTY ON RUFUS chased the pace, was fanned five wide by SPURIOUS in upper stretch, bid for the lead inside the winner and was out finished. NANO MAN saved ground on the turn, remained inside horses in the stretch, was in range in upper stretch and weakened. SPURIOUS set the pace well off the rail but inside horses, drifted to the four path turning for home and gave way. BOOTED UP , very wide on the turn, was not a factor. MIGRATORY , no factor, swung outside in mid stretch. QUAHOG REPUBLIC broke slowly, raced along the inner rail in the stretch and came up empty. An objection by the rider of PARTY ON RUFUS against the winner for alleged interference in the stretch was not allowed.
