LE TOUCHE bid for the lead outside GIPOIA mid way down the backstretch, saved ground on the far turn, brushed JOLLY JOLENE in upper stretch, dueled, drifted out a bit in mid stretch and drove clear. JOLLY JOLENE bid for the lead outside LE TOUCHE leaving the backstretch, was brushed in upper stretch, was herded out a bit in mid stretch, dueled in a game effort. VIOLET'S CHARM advanced three wide to take aim on the lead at the head of the stretch then weakened. CAPRICHOSAINFRONT remained along the inner rail throughout and failed to rally. GIPOIA (BRZ) set the early pace slightly off the rail and was done before a half mile. An objection by the rider of JOLLY JOLENE against the winner for alleged interference in the stretch was not allowed.
