Chart notes
PALACE GUARD was unhurried and raced in the back, remained confidently handled around the turn, swung into action five paths wide into the lane, tapped a couple times in upper stretch, responded willingly and swept by in hand. OUR LAST CHANCE set the pace, held clear around the turn, ran on along the inside into the lane, got overtaken by the winner past mid-stretch and finished on equal terms for place. REDNECKERTHANYOU was forwardly placed into the turn, hustled along two wide into the final furlong, sustained a steady bid and finished on equal terms for place. VIRTUE'S REWARD was never too far back in early stages, loomed closer four wide at the quarter pole, got carried out turning for home, ran on three wide in contention but lacked a closing kick to get by the runner ups. ANNUAL BUDGET raced two wide around the turn, hustled along in range near the furlong marker then evened out. RUN FOR GOLD hustled along in pursuit of the early leader, sustained a three wide bid around the turn then gave way.
