Chart notes
LUNATIC FRIENDS set the pace up the backstretch, held firm still unleashed around the turn, saved ground turning for home and steadily pulled away while ridden out. AMBROSE bumped with outer foe at the start, tracked the top pair in the opening quarter, picked up the pace two wide around the turn, sustained an inside bid down the lane and dug in gamely to take place. MEEKER raced near mid-range up the backstretch, hustled along three wide into upper stretch and ran on for a share. PALACE ROCK got bumped back at the start, raced off the pace, saved ground around the turn, shifted four wide in upper stretch and gained late. BIG FURN tracked the leader up the backstretch, chased two wide around the turn then gave way. BLUEGRASS TAP raced in the back, swung wide into the lane and never threatened. ORPHAN SANDY raced in early contention then steadily weakened.
