Chart notes
IRON ORCHARD broke out at the start and was corrected under light coaxing, established the front just after the break and showed the way just off the inside through to into the first turn before tucking to the rail near midway, settled into a comfortable rhythm in hand along the inside down the backstretch, continued along the rail through the far turn patiently handled until given a notch near the quarter pole, cut the corner into upper stretch and was roused straightened away, went clear under a drive, had the rider peek over his right shoulder just outside the sixteenth marker and was geared down inside that station to the finish, the outcome in no doubt. LADY ROSE coaxed from the gate, raced three then two wide into the first turn before settling along the rail just before heading into the backstretch, chased along the inside coming under encouragement with five-sixteenths to go, spun three wide into upper stretch, proved no match for the top one while keeping on to secure the place honors. VENETTA forwardly placed three then two wide in closest aim of the leader, came under coaxing with seven-sixteenths remaining, spun just off the inside into upper stretch, weakened in the late stages while along for the show honors. UNLOCK THE VALUE four then three wide into the first turn, tucked to the two path midway on that bend before chasing two to three paths off the rail down the backstretch, came under coaxing with five-sixteenths to go, swung three to four wide into upper stretch and weakened. VICTORY HALL three wide into the first turn, tucked to the two path and then the rail by midway, chased along the inside and then just off the inside under a ride from the seven-sixteenths marker, angled five wide into upper stretch and weakened in the drive. POWER OF WOMEN along the inside through the first turn, chased two to three wide thereafter coming under urging three furlongs from home, spun just off the inside into upper stretch and weakened. NEW YORK SPECIAL four then three wide into the first turn, chased four then three wide under encouragement with seven-sixteenths to run, angled in and took the inside route into upper stretch, tired.
