Chart notes
MILLFORD LASS broke behind the leaders, raced in the second flight off the inside, came three wide for the drive, late bid outside, up final strides. POLL POSITION with early pace, pressed through the turn off the inside, engaged the leader once again from the outside when straightened for home, took over, held the advantage until nail in the final strides. DANTINI void of any early foot in the run up the backstretch, continued to lag early turn, moved out three wide, made a late run through traffic to be up late for show, too late to challenge the top pair. POLKA DOT JERSEY broke alertly, dueled up the backstretch along the rail and inside the runner up, garnered a slightly larger advantage through the turn, briefly responded when challenged nearing the furlong marker then began to weaken, caught late for the show. HADID forwardly placed while three wide and between foes early, remained within striking distance in the three path through the turn, went evenly through the lane in lacking a late punch. VIRGINIA FAB unruly in loading, broke forwardly, prompted the issue up front outside, four wide through the turn when continuing to lurk, weakened in the run through the lane while drifting in a bit with a furlong to run. CUTTIN' UP in mid pack early, fell back while in the three path late backstretch, failed to menace. THECLOCKISTICKING in the second flight along the rail and inside the winner, gave way steadily in the drive. SPUN FOR JOY last to leave, was never a threat.
