Chart notes

KNIGHTSBRIDGE dueled outside FULL SERRANO (ARG) to far turn, inched ahead late on the bend, put FULL SERRANO (ARG) away at the top of the lane, drew off under right handed urging midstretch, flagged with the crop with a sixteenth remaining and was in hand approaching the wire. ORIGINAL SIN was off slow to begin, lagged behind early, advanced along the rail then in the two path on the far turn, angled out into the stretch, closed well through the lane to gain second but could not threaten the winner. FULL SERRANO (ARG) went up to duel inside KNIGHTSBRIDGE, fought head to head with that rival to late on the far turn, failed to kick on with that rival at the top of the lane, drifted off the fence and flattened to third. OM N JOY got crowded along the rail and checked crossing the finish line for the first time, traveled in the two path from well off the pace, altered out a bit to go around a tiring rival early on the far turn, steered out further around that bend, came six wide into the lane, summoned a mild rally and earned a minor award. HIT SHOW unhurried outside rivals or off the rail, angled to the inside entering the first turn, advanced along the fence around the far turn but flattened out in the final furlong. MALARCHUK tracked three then four wide around of range, angled to the two path late on the backstretch, went between rivals at the three-eighths pole, chased three wide into the lane and weakened. FORGED STEEL stalked the dueling leaders from inside, fell out of range while easing over to the two path on the far turn, then faded through the drive. BRITISH ISLES followed in range between rivals around the clubhouse turn, ridden along leaving the backstretch, dropped back three then four wide on the far turn and came up empty in the drive. NAVAJO WARRIOR tracked three deep to the half-mile pole, started to weaken four then five wide on the far turn and tired down the stretch. SUBSANADOR (ARG) sat off the pace on the inside, raced a bit off the rail into the lane and proved no menace. FINGER (JPN) settled in mid-pack in the early going, traveled in the three path on the clubhouse turn, started to weaken under urging on the backstretch, fell back to last on the far turn, eased in the lane and walked off.
