MY GUN'S LOADED settled into stride, rounded the first turn in the three path, raced towards the front on the outside, was asked to pick up briefly near the seven-sixteenths pole, ranged up in the three then four path on the far turn, made a bid outside of the pacesetter at the five-sixteenths pole, took the lead in the six path into upper stretch, came in some under a left-handed crop while battling outside of COUNTING STARS, remained on her inside lead in the process, swapped to the proper lead outside the furlong marker, led under a strong hand-ride into the final sixteenth then was put to a right-handed crop and just held under strong urging. MEASURE sat back at the start and was last away, settled at the rear, saved ground on the first turn, was unhurried at the back, raced inside to the two path on the far turn, was roused into upper stretch, rallied into the final furlong, closed strongly to make a bid inside of the winner late and just missed while clear for the place. COUNTING STARS went to the front while remaining well out in the track, rounded the first turn in the four path, showed the way with a clear advantage while continuing well out in the surface, dropped from the four path to the three path early on the far turn, was asked under threat outside the quarter-pole, came out to the five path under a left-handed crop into the stretch then lost the lead to the winner, was carried in some inside the three-sixteenths pole, fought under a left-handed crop to the sixteenth-pole then was outfinished but clear for the show. A. P.'S GIRL broke out and brushed the gate, went around the opening bend in the two then three path, settled on the outside, was roused in the three then four path on the far turn, came into the stretch in the five path, was carried out outside the furlong marker and lacked the needed kick. ATI GIRL showed speed on the opening straightaway, dropped from the two path to the inside on the first turn, tracked the pace on the backstretch, was asked into the far turn, chased while two path to the inside on that bend, dropped back in the three path into upper stretch and tired. NYCON broke out and brushed the gate, saved ground on the first turn, settled off the pace, was urged along while moving from the inside to the three path on the far turn, turned into upper stretch in the four path, moved out outside the furlong marker and came up empty.
