Chart notes
CHANNEL LAUNCH pressed the pace between horses, dropped back into the turn, came again, closed willingly and wore down GO WATER to get up late. GO WATER set a pressured pace to the turn, drew clear, led to the final strides and was outfinished. DANJERUS CLOUD pressed the pace four wide, dropped back on the turn, stayed within range, lacked the needed late response and settled for show. WILD STEEL settled off the pace, swung wide entering the stretch, closed and didn't have enough late to threaten. JUST KEEP LAUGHIN lagged early, put in a steady effort and failed to menace. MICHIGA broke slowly and was steadied at the start, trailed the field, went widest in the drive and passed a tiring rival. PROCEEDTOTHEFRONT pressed the pace along the rail, backed up on the turn, bid inside, was in range and stopped.
