Chart notes

LITTLE TROUBLE saved ground around the first turn, tracked the leader from the middle of the pack on the inside up the backstretch, began a bid from the two path coming around the far turn and gained ground steadily late to get up for the win near the wire. MORAL DILEMMA sprinted to a clear early lead while saving ground around the first bend and up the backstretch, continued to save ground around the far turn, dug in gamely in the lane and was caught late, narrowly missing. BATTER UP saved ground around the first turn, trailed the field up the backstretch, navigated the far turn from the two path and made up some mild ground in the stretch while never threatening the top two. BIZZEE CHANNEL raced in the two path early, stalked the leader on the outside up the backstretch, came around the far turn in the three path and chased on in the lane, but was outkicked. ZOFFARELLI (IRE) raced off the pace in the two path through the opening half mile, saved ground around the second turn and showed no kick.
