HORSING AROUND settled off the pace while outside, closer four wide inside the runner up late in the turn, was put in a bit tight by that one in upper stretch, steadied briefly then proceeded evenly to the wire. ORQUIDEA REAL lacked early foot despite some early encouragement, continued to lag into the turn, swung out six wide entering the stretch, finished with good energy while widest through the straight while too late to make a major impact. FANTASY WORLD prompted the pace while racing off the inside, had little left for the final furlong of the stretch run. LET HER PASS BY in the main body along the inside, continued to save ground turn, asked for some run late in the bend, in traffic entering the straight, went evenly to the wire when clear to the wire. DERBY EFFORT raced toward the front while three wide early, weakened gradually through the stretch. HONOR ROLL showed the way up the backstretch along the inside and into the turn, light restraint midway on the bend, asked along when entering the stretch, briefly responded when challenged then began a steady retreat. SAY YOU LOVE ME one paced off the inside, three wide in some minor traffic turning for home, shifted out a bit, made little impact in the run to the wire. SPOTLIGHT GIRL forwardly placed four three furlongs in the three path, gave way through the lane. THAT THING YOU DO remained always back to be outrun off the inside. FOLLOWING A CLAIM OF FOUL BY THE RIDER OF HORSING AROUND AGAINST THE RUNNER UP FOR ALLEGED INTERFERENCE IN UPPER STRAIGHT, NO ACTION WAS TAKEN.
