Chart notes
HARD TO FIGURE stepped to the front in the two path then moved inside, met the bid from JOINT VENTURE in upper stretch and kicked clear in the last sixteenth. JOINT VENTURE raced up close on the inside then took back slightly at the three-quarter pole, stalked the leader up the backstretch, tipped three wide around the far turn, challenged from outside approaching the eighth pole but got turned away in the last sixteenth. GEOMETRY tracked outside a pair of rivals, stayed off the rail on the backstretch, traveled three then four wide on the far turn and flattened out in the lane. MIGHTY KAI settled in the two path between rivals, angled four wide around the far turn and weakened in the drive. BARELY FUNTIONAL trailed three wide around, angled in on the backstretch, rounded the far turn two then three wide and failed to menace. HABEAS stumbled leaving the gate, followed closely in the two path, started to weaken under a ride on the far turn and faded in the lane. ROYAL 'N RANDO settled inside, dropped back to last, moved off the rail nearing the stretch and tired.
