Chart notes
PROLETARIAT stepped to the front with PAVLOVIAN alongside early then cleared that rival, controlled the pace from inside, patiently handled through the far turn, kicked away when given his cue at the top of the stretch, asked left handed midstretch and held safely under steady handling. BUST OUT stalked the top pair from inside, fell out of range on the backstretch, saved ground through the far turn, rallied into second past the eighth pole and whittle the gap on PROLETARIAT late. JORDI BEAR (IRE) broke cleanly but slowest of the group, angled over to the inside trailing, had one rival beat into the clubhouse turn, ran up on heels and steadied around the bend then tipped two wide into the clear, eased out around the far turn, spun four wide into the lane, finished willingly down the stretch and was able to hold off UNRIVALED TIME for third. UNRIVALED TIME unhurried in the early going and quickly moved to the inside, trailed the field in the two path entering the first turn, asked three then four wide on the far turn, came five wide into the stretch, finished well in the late stages and almost got by JORDI BEAR (IRE) for third. MELISMATIC (IRE) bumped with CHARLIE'S CURLIN at the start, reserved along the inside, pursued between rivals then two wide on the far turn, steered out into the lane and lacked further response. CHARLIE'S CURLIN bumped with MELISMATIC (IRE) leaving the gate, sat off the pace in the two path, drew closer two then three wide on the far turn, chased between runners into the final furlong and could not rally. TRIBALISM (IRE) steered to the inside while in hand early on, steadied behind a rival approaching the five-sixteenths pole, continued on the fence into and down the lane but also failed to rally. PAVLOVIAN showed early speed then ceded command PROLETARIAT, was closest in pursuit of the pacesetter in the two path to the far turn, came under a ride midway around the bend and weakened.
