Chart notes
TOTALLY JUSTIFIED saved ground in midpack, rallied into place at the furlong grounds, sustained progress to bid outside of the leader at the sixteenth pole and drove past. LUSH LIPS (GB) set the pace along the inside, drew clear under confident handling entering upper stretch, responded when set down at the furlong grounds, but got collared at the sixteenth pole and was bested late. JUST RUTHLESS prompted two wide, yielded in the three path in upper stretch, drifted out yet held show. ICONA (IRE) laid off of the pace in the three path, got caught five wide around the far turn, moved wider in the lane, stayed on mildly and needed more for show. SHE'S ON A ROLL was backed out and reloaded in the starting gate, stalked along the inside, chased in the three path into the lane and lacked a bid. NEXT UP pursued two wide, chased four wide and between horses turning for home and lacked a bid. SANCTIFY checked into the first turn, raced off of the pace in the two path and failed to factor. DAISY FLYER settled well back near the inside, saved ground to no avail. ASTERIA steadied between horses soon after the start, checked again into the first turn, raced at the rear along the inside, then in the three to five path turning for home but made little impact. DEVASSA (BRZ) broke a beat slow, pressed three wide then faded between horses at the quarter pole.
