CAIRO SURPRISE vied three wide in a contested pace, continued three wide on the turn, responded when roused entering the stretch, gained a short lead, edged away at the sixteenth marker, held well under urging and taken in hand the final strides. BOARDWALK JACK chased between rivals, chased on the turn, angled out in upper stretch, rallied outside in the final furlong and dug in gamely to the finish. SPEAKING vied between rivals for command, dueled on the turn, dug in gamely in the stretch run and earned the show spot. WILDNCRAZYNIGHT vied inside for the lead, dueled inside on the turn, dug in gamely in the stretch drive and was outfinished for third. ST.
