Chart notes

NINA KAY bobbled at the start, crossed directly from the three path to the rail midway on the first turn, chased two to three paths off the inside down the backstretch until tucked inside half a mile from home, came under coaxing near the quarter pole and spun two to three wide into upper stretch, edged clear under a drive to prevail. ROYAL BOBBIE four then three wide through the first turn, chased three then two wide just off the leader, came under urging three furlongs from home, spun three wide into upper stretch and had SWEET ANNIVERSARY attempt to lean his way out and denied the move, ran on to secure the place honors. SWEET ANNIVERSARY inside briefly, had NINA KAY tuck in front and tipped to the two path midway on the first turn, chased just off the inside and then along the inside patiently handled until let out spinning just off the inside into upper stretch, attempted to tip out straightened away and leaned on ROYAL BOBBIE and was denied the move by that rival, ran on through to the finish. SARATOGA SNOW raced two to three wide through the first turn, chased four then three wide down the backstretch growing detached at the tail of the field, came under prolonged coaxing from the half mile pole and went three wide through the far turn and then four wide into upper stretch and was eased home to the wire.
