PERIPHERY crowded at the start, made a steady gain from the inside along the backstretch, went up to vie for the lead two wide into the far turn, got floated out by the drifting JUMPONTHISTRACK into upper stretch, took command into the final sixteenth and proved best late. JUMPONTHISTRACK sent for the early lead, set the pace to the backstretch, met the bid of PERIPHERY along the far turn then drifted out and floated that rival into upper stretch, battled into the final furlong, couldn't match strides with the winner into the final sixteenth and held safely for second. GALA GOLD close up to the early pace then carried out into the first turn, regrouped while four wide to the backstretch, churned on into the lane, couldn't reel in the top pair into the final sixteenth but fought on late and held safely for third. GO CAMI OH settled to the backstretch, shifted to the inside and rallied from the rail to upper stretch, needed more into the final furlong and was outkicked in the late stages. ROLLING MY EYES ceded the early lead and settled in the second flight, caught in tight between rivals into the first turn, lost ground along the backstretch, coaxed from the outside into upper stretch, passed a tiring rival late but failed to menace in the final sixteenth. WYOMING JEWEL broke in at the start, lacked early speed and trailed to the backstretch, improved position along the inside to upper stretch, couldn't sustain that run into the final furlong and failed to threaten late. SPARKLEY BARKLEY broke in at the start and crowded an inner rival, was forwardly placed to the first turn then carried out GALA GOLD into that bend, chased three wide into the backstretch, lost ground into the far turn, came up empty in the drive, was eased through the lane and walked off.
